Co-Curricular Programs

At SASJ ,we recognise the importance of offering young learners the chance to explore new activities and interests, to enable them to have a balanced education and live life to the full. We offer an extensive range of co-curricular activities to inspire and engage every child outside the classroom.

Drama

Drama is an integral part of the curriculum. It teaches creativity, self-discipline, and collective responsibility. It also develops quick thinking, adaptability, and provides areas of achievement, self-esteem and aspiration that are not always available to pupils through other areas of School life.It helps pupils to understand and value their own experience and achievements, as well as those of others.

Sports

Sport at SASJ is fully inclusive and the aim is to identify and help develop the potential of all pupils from the interested novice to the elite performer. Our aim is to give every pupil the chance to benefit from learning through sport by playing and being taught the sport of his choice at the level best suited to his abilities and interest.

Arts

In Arts ,we encourage our students to be creative and teach them how a solution evolves through creative thinking. We urge them to use the skills learned in the classroom to extend their knowledge and understanding.

Through painting & drawing  we mould our pupils into confident, young artists. Art and Craft  is a subject for everyone; we are here to inspire and enthuse every student. Every pupil can achieve and it is our job to bring the creative qualities out of everyone.

Dance

Dance involves the development of physical skill as well as aesthetic and artistic understanding. Our aim is to encourage students to develop knowledge and understanding, skills and attitudes in Performing, Composing and Appreciation – to study Dance as an ‘Art form’.

Music

Exploration, diligence and focused practice are at the foundation of our music at SASJ.

The Music Center is accessible for one-on-one lessons and individual practice in addition to the many rehearsal opportunities throughout the class day. The many rigorous courses, individual lessons and ensembles are the environment for experimentation as well as a time to hone the necessary skills for excellence that are so essential for a strong performance.

The SASJ campus offers numerous opportunities for student musicians to perform during the academic year, including:
