Arts & crafts are fun activities for kids. Be it coloring with crayons or making miniature statues from clay; folding paper to create fine origami or designing a handmade birthday card; there are several arts and crafts activities, which can enhance the interest of the children and exploit their artistic potential.
By encouraging students to participate in arts and crafts activities, we invest in building their cognitive, physical and social development.

Mathematics is the only subject which shows that problems have solutions. Mathematics can be fun, challenging, hands on and applicable in real life. To celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning, experience the joy of the mathematical sphere and to explore various mathematical concepts in a creative manner, National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22 December 2021.


Gift wrapping is a fantastic skill for students to master. The students of grades III to VIII enjoyed the gift wrapping workshop ,where in children learnt how to creatively wrap a gift . It also helped children to understand picking up the edge/corner of paper from a flat surface, creasing/folding the paper, pinching corners and applying tape, bows , name tags and tying knots.

Physical Education

Physical Education plays a very consequential role in keeping children fit and active.It helps in developing students’ competence and confidence. It helps them to take part in a wide range of physical activities that are crucial to their lives— both in and out of school.
Keeping these benefits in our view we have started organising PE classes for our students.Let’s have a look ….


To raise awareness about the Health and Hygiene among young children a “Nutrition Workshop” was organised on 14 December 2021 . The students were informed about the advantages of healthy eating, balanced diet, food pyramid and the various nutrients found in the food items.

Fun Yoga

Yoga is a fun and easy exercise for kids of any age – plus it helps children achieve their recommended daily amount of physical activity. Keeping this in our view we have organised “Fun Yoga “ for the students of grades VI to VIII

At SASJ, we believe that imparting education is an on-going process to ensure harmonious development of mind and body; it remains pulsating inside and outside the classroom walls. Learning beyond the classroom offers a whole host of opportunities to acquire first-hand knowledge. It is like unclipping the wings of the learners and empowering to soar high to explore the horizons of learning. World Population Day

World Population Day is an annual event, observed on July 11 every year, which seeks to raise awareness of global population issues. It aims to increase people's awareness on various population issues such as the importance of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights.

Soaking in the spirit

Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, our students presented cultural extravaganza and exhibited the real spirit of the festival .Celebration came to full swing when the students of grades 6 to 7 sung "French Christmas Carol".

A “Role Play Activity"

A “Role Play Activity” on “Freedom Fighters” was organised for our young students on 30 November,2021 .The students portrayed the role of freedom fighters and made everyone aware about their contribution in the history of Indian Independence.
